Force lose Game Four 6-2

Well, at least it wasn't a dirty game...

The Force were unable to match the Lancers' intensity for the full 60 minutes and it showed on the scoreboard as Omaha came up with a 6-2 win over the Fargo Force at the Urban Plains Center in Game Four.  With the win, Omaha pushed the series to Game 5, with Game 5 going back to Omaha.

Leading the charge for the Lancers was Dakota Eveland with two goals and an assist, Greg Wolfe with a goal and an assist, Troy Power with a goal and an assist, and Ryan Daugherty with a goal and an assist fresh off his one-game suspension.  The Force got goals from Chad Demers and Matt Leitner.  JP Burkemper, Chase Grant and Garrett Allen added assists for Fargo.  Ryan Massa made 18 saves on 23 shots and Dayn Belfour played 4:52 without seeing a shot.  Jeff Teglia stopped 18/20 for the Lancers.

The Force will need a much better effort if they plan to make their second straight appearance to the Clark Cup Finals...

Sorry for not having much in the entry. I couldn't make it to the game because I had to work... Good luck to the Force going to Omaha. They still have only lost to the Lancers twice this year so don't count them out just yet.

I will be sure to "welcome" all you Fardo Fags to the last game of your season! And the game was dirty. apparently yvenko aka Lerch can hit his own teammates better than his opponents. HAHA. GO LANCERS!

Another "classy" Omaha fan I see. Way to represent your fanbase.

Come on now. This has been a pretty good series outside of the last couple minutes on Saturday. I don't see why some Lancer fans have to ruin the reputation of other Lancer fans. Believe me we are not all like that. Have some respect, especially when this is not even a Lancer blog.

Don't worry Fargo, we'll welcome you with open arms (as long as your players don't rile us up ;-)

This series would have been good, but I think Sheva marred the the first two. Which led to certain events. Hopefully we get a good game five and whoever loses shouldn't be ashamed. Both teams have been fighting hard. Good luck and GO LANCERS!!!

Maybe some Lancer fans should start up a blog? There is obviously a lot of people interested in it since they are commenting on this one.

To the Fardo Fags commenter...good one, you are a unique individual.

Quite obviously the same dumbass who has been commenting on all the blog posts lately. I feel bad for those of you normal Lancer fans who are forced to claim him. Just glad he's not a Force fan!

The series has been good aside from the third period of the Saturday game. Keep pushing hard guys, we need a win! GO FORCE!

Don't feel bad for us. Sadly, there's one in every bunch regardless of what team they're for. It's just those are the ones that get noticed more.
