The Fargo Force had a great turnout for their last regular season home game of the season. 4,837 fans were able to see a good hockey game that the Force eventually lost in a shootout to the top team in the USHL. With the win, Green Bay clinched the Anderson Cup.
The Force are pretty much locked into the 2nd spot in the West Division and will probably take on the Sioux Falls Stampede in their first round of the Clark Cup playoffs. In order to get first place in the West Division, Omaha would have to lose their remaining two games and the Force would have to win their remaining three games. With one more win, the Force will clinch home ice advantage for the first round playoff series with Sioux Falls.

From USHL.com: Green Bay Gamblers 4, Fargo Force 3 (SO)
Ryan Furne tied the game with under two minutes remaining in regulation and Ludwig Karlsson was the only player to score in the shootout to help the Green Bay Gamblers clinch the Anderson Cup for the second straight season as regular season champions. Karlsson also scored in regulation and defenseman David Makowski netted his 18th goal of the season for the Gamblers. Goaltender Ryan McKay made just 17 saves but turned away all five Fargo shootout attempts to seal the win. Matt Leitner scored two goals for the Force and goaltender Ryan Massa made 40 saves in the loss.

If it was'nt for Massa it would'nt have even been a close game.
If Lippincott would've buried that with 3 minutes left the Force would have won!
Condon also had a great opportunity right at the end of the third
anyone know what leivermann did to get called out by johnson in the papers? what assignment did he miss? why did johnson single him out?! there are a lot of other times where force players missed assignments, that's hockey. is it johnson's way of making a leader in leivermann step up?
Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the "missed assignment" either. I was at the other end of the rink so I didn't have the best view to check it out either. Here is the link to the article - http://www.inforum.com/event/article/id/273701/ ...I'll add it above.
blown assignment or not, Leivermann rocks!!!!
Wether or not Johnson is making a "leader" out of Corey Leivermann, that was not the way to do it. The comment he made in the paper was unprofessional and disgusting. No matter what, you DO NOT call out one single person. He is obviously not "coach" material if this is his way of making a "leader" out of Leivermann. Not a smart idea going into the playoffs....
yeah it would seem to make more sense to call him out in the locker room than in the papers...
I really just do not understand what his problem is with Leivermann. I mean, why does he think he lost the game? It is just confusing to me why he would be that upset to say something like that. I watched the game- there were many missed opportunities throughout the game. Does anyone know what Johnson's problem is with him?
Does anyone know why Leivermann got his A on his jersey taken away and given to Eamonn?
I didn't know he got his A taken away. I thought it was C- Grant, A- Leitner, McDermott, Condon and Leivermann.
Sorry for trolling here, but as a Lincoln fan, Johnson is a great coach. He regularly called out single players while he was here and it's his way of coaching. Some of players don't like it, but it's just him creating motivation for his players, don't worry about him calling the player out. As an onlooker, I would say that the Clark Cup will come down to a great series between you guys and Green Bay.
He got it taken away a few months ago.
