question what was Johnson thinking when it came to choosing people to shoot during the shootout? Shrek... Really? he is not very mobile at all.. hes tall and thats about it... IMO hes too slow for taking a shot during the shootout... also its not his fault we lost but how come we cant score on a 5 on 3 PP or even score more goals having 45 SOG? No one crashes the net for rebounds or even puts pressure on their offense... wow what a poor showing we need to get back on the win streaks we were used to... Good Luck Friday!!!
Holy, I was thinking the SAME THING. We thought that they were required to use the last line on the ice as the shootout people but I didn't think that was it. Why Garrett Allen, and Yvenko? What was he thinking?! We were there for the game and it was a heartbreaker, the guys played really well and they really couldn't have asked for much more out of Belfour. If Johnson doesn't get fired after this season, I sure as hell hopes he starts focusing on defense. Offense is great and all but defense wins games.
Garrett Allen is a goal scorer...but I do question the Yevenko move in a shootout. St. Clair and Leitner should have went before Yevenko or McDermott....idk what the deal was with putting in defenseman...let the goal scorers do what they do best...
The list is in two parts: The "Listing By College" page lists the NCAA
schools and the players who have reportedly committed to them. The league
and geographic pages contains a listing of players who have done well at
the junior or minor hockey level, and therefore may attract NCAA attention.
These pages of potential NCAA recruits are based upon the information
available to me, and do not represent the views of the NCAA or any of its
teams. Accordingly, many players who may attract (or in fact have already
attracted) NCAA attention may not yet be listed because that information
has not come to my attention. The listing of school commitments reflects
reported verbal commitments to attend the school. Although verbal
commitments are not legally binding until the player signs a binding NCAA
Letter of Intent ("LOI"). Players who have signed a LOI are noted in bold.
All other listings are of reported verbal commitments. (Ivy league schools
do not use a LOI, so all commitments are verbal commitments only.)
