Force end season with 4-game losing streak

The Force ended their season exactly how they didn't want to end it, with yet another loss to Green Bay pushing their losing streak to 4 games.  The new 4-game losing streak is the longest losing streak of the year and it couldn't come at a worse time for the Force going into the USHL playoffs.  The Force were able to get some help from Tri-City with their win over Sioux Falls to give Fargo home ice advantage for the first round of the playoffs against the Stampede.  Fargo will be the number two seed and Sioux Falls will be the number three seed in the West Division.

Johnnie Searfoss scored the lone goal for the Force tonight on the power play.  Colten St. Clair assisted on the goal.  Jason Goldsmith was the backup tonight and he saw some action stopping 3 shots in just over two minutes in relief of Ryan Massa who gave up 4 goals on 14 shots.

Anyone concerned with the longest losing streak of the season going into the playoffs?  Hopefully they think "fresh start" as the begin the second season (playoffs).  The Force were lucky enough to get some help from Tri-City to get the crucial home ice advantage.  Fargo has been good at home (19-7-4) so getting three games at home will be beneficial.

Game 2: @ Fargo: Friday, April, 9th: 7:35 PM
Game 3: @ Fargo: Saturday, April 10th: 7:05 PM
Game 4: @ Sioux Falls: Tuesday, April 13th: 7:05 PM, if necessary
Game 5: @ Fargo: Wednesday, April 14th: 7:05 PM, if necessary

The lack of bench depth is really starting to show on this team. Top guys are tired and 3-4 line guys have hardly played all year. This is why Johnson has a great regular season coaching record because he plays a shorter bench than anyone during the season. Johnson used to be able to get away with it..now his ignorance and lazy approach is starting to show. As Dean Blais always says: "4th lines win championships". Force fans should enjoy it now because the guys that built this team are gone.

What is up with the FargoForce Forums? I keep getting re-directed to the paranormal society of fargo?

Tyler got the Forcehockey.com Forums back up today. Someone hacked into it I guess. Unfortunately he had to run a backup so a lot of the posts were deleted...

Typed placed a redirect on Forcehockey due to it being hacked by a crew in Morracco and the nasty stuff they put up in Forcehockey's place. Myself, Justin, and the rest of The MinnDak Paranormal Society offered to host the redirect until he was able to get Forcehockey back up. Hopefully all hacking and spamming issues have been taken care of, but if he needs to redirect again, he has the offer to use our site again. Hopefully this clears up any questions.

Good to know that the paranormal site wasn't a bad link. When I saw that pop up, I was thinking that the Forcehockey site was hacked and this is what it would be from now on. Just a little confusing there.

We even added a link on the MINNDAK site that would let people blog about the Force while the site was down.
